Bobby was born and raised in the Waco area and graduated from Lorena High School.  Bobby now makes his home in China Spring, Texas, with his lovely wife Dawn and their treasured son.  Mr. Coats is a graduate of Baylor University and Baylor Law School.  Since being licensed to practice law, Bobby has represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases ranging from complex wrongful death cases to simple car accidents.  Always keen for courtroom challenges, Mr. Coats has significant family law experience in issues ranging from divorces to highly contested custody matters. Although Bobby has scaled back his family law practice to focus on his Personal Injury caseload, he still welcomes inquiries from clients old and new, if he can be of service.
Bobby had never met a lawyer before he went to law school and was the first of his family to even attend college.  Mr. Coats' background allows him to see cases through the eyes of his clients, who are generally honest, hard-working folks who just  need a little help.  When you meet Mr. Coats you will know that he relates to you as a person- not as a lawyer. A firm believer in the Golden Rule, Bobby knows that people come first.
